HS HOOPS: Cold-starting Alemany trails Windward by six at half

| | Comments (0) |

Alemany got off to a slow start against Windward, falling behind by 12 points early in the second quarter, as the cold-shooting Warriors were not hitting their shots while struggling to keep up with Windward's quick transition game.

But the Warriros have crept back, and it's 34-29 Windward leading at the half.

If Alemany wants to get all the way back in, someone needs to neutralize Windward's Wesley Saunders, who has 13 points. He eats up shorter players down low, and if a post player tries to guard him, he drives right past.
