HS HOOPS: Hart, Valencia set to square off with lots on the line

| | Comments (0) |

It's a huge finale tonight in Valencia, as the host Vikings (18-7, 7-2) look to clinch the Foothill League title outright tonight with a win over visiting Hart in the showdown set to tip off in just a few minutes.

Defending co-champion Valencia is trying to win the title outright, while fourth-place Hart (13-11, 5-4), always a heated rival, can not only play spoiler but do a lot to help its own playoff position.

"Oh, we would love to spoil them being league champs, but it's a big game for us, too," Hart's Roman Delgado said. "If we win, we make it automatically. If we lose, we won't know until Sunday. I'm looking forward to it. It's senior night for them, so they're going to be pumped, and we're pumped, too."
