HS HOOPS: Is Alemany ready for Windward?

| | Comments (0) |

It's a big night for Alemany, as the Warriors face Windward in a Div. IV-AA semifinal at Hart High in Newhall.

Windward is 22-7 and has a terrific power forward in Wesley Saunders. Alemany (20-10), led by Marqueze Coleman and Max Guercy, figures to counter with outside shooting.

"All the tough games we've played all season have prepared us for playoff games like this," Alemany coach Tray Mees said.

Alemany is trying to reach a section final for the second year in a row. The Warriors are one of four Mission League teams still alive, along with Loyola, Harvard Westlake and Crespi.
