HS HOOPS: Westmark standout is real McCoy

| | Comments (0) |

Shands McCoy scored 43 points Tuesday, and Westmark needed all of them in a 65-63 win over L.A. Lutheran.

It was McCoy's fourth 40-point performance of the season, as the 6-foot junior is averaging 28 points and is undisputed leader for a team that's 6-6 after winning just one game last season.

"He's just fantastic," assistant coach Perry Skaggs said. "He made All-CIF in eight-man football, and he should makie it in basketball, too."
