HS BASE: Moorpark is red hot

Moorpark won twice by shutout Thursday at the San Luis Obispo tournament Thursday, defeating Foothill 3-0 and SLO 6-0 to qualify for the championship game today against Trabuco Hills.

Jordan Guerrero pitched a three-hit shutout in the win over Foothill, and in the win over SLO, Jake Woolley hit a two-run home run and Steven Donlon got the win.

After the tournament, Moorpark goes on spring break until May 4.
