The Oaks Christian softball team just keeps on winning and winning.

The Lions received a huge two run single from Hannah Roberg in the third inning and held on for a 2-0 victory against Marina of Huntington Beach in a quarterfinal game at the Michelle Carew Classic tournament hosted by Canyon High of Anaheim.

Freshman Kristen Cullen pitched 5.1 innings and had five strikeouts.

Kiana Quolas, a Coastal Carolina-bound pitcher, went the final 1.2 and picked up the save. Quolas struck out two batters to end the game.

The Lions now move into Saturdays semifinals at 1:30 p.m. at Peralta Park against either Norco or Esperanza.

Oaks Christian's only loss this season came in the first game of a doubleheader against El Camino Real on March 16.
