Boys' basketball: Oaks Christian holds off El Camino Real

Andre Chevalier was back on the Oaks Christian bench after 16 days in South Africa and the Lions beat El Camino Real, 60-51, in a consolation quarterfinal in the Fairfax tournament.

Chass Bryan scored 17 points and junior Anson Moye scored 16 points to lead Oaks Christian.

Maleke Haynes scored 14 points and Evan Wardlow scored 12 points for ECR.

Oaks Christian took the lead midway through the first half and never trailed again.

The Lions will play Orange Lutheran at 1:30 p.m. Friday in a consolation semifinal.

El Camino Real play Notre Dame at 10:30 a.m.
