Girls' basketball: Oaks Christian coach Trutanic, Jr. resigns

| | Comments (0) |

Oaks Christian girls' basketball coach Mario Trutanic, Jr. lasted one season with the Lions.

Trutanic resigned Wednesday afternoon and will be an asst. coach for the Cal St. Northridge women's team.

Trutanic led the Lions to an undefeated run through Tri-Valley League competition and a Div. IV-A championship game appearance but Oaks Christian lost to St. Anthony at the Anaheim Convention Center in March.

Many top applicants are expected to apply.

The team returns four key starters and should be bolstered by the additions of four possible transfers.

Applicants for the position are encouraged to contact athletic director Jan Hethcock.
