Girls' basketball: New coaches all over the place

There are plenty of new faces at local programs.

Bryan Camacho is in at Alemany. Camacho replaces Bethel Trice.

Gary Walin is in at Thousand Oaks. Walin replaces Rick Cromwell.

Keith Case is in at Moorpark. Case replaces Gene Hatton.

Katelyn Harrison is in at Agoura. Harrison replaces Steve Scifres, who now coaches the boys' team.

Sherry Higgins is in at L.A. Baptist. Higgins replaces Jerry DeLaurie.

Note: watch out for Higgins' daughter, Valerie. She is a top 8th-grader this September.

Cara Blumfield is in at El Camino Real. Blumfied replaces Raquel Alotis.

Alotis is in at Sierra Canyon. Alotis replaces T.J. Knox.

Oaks Christian is searching for a coach after the resignation of Mario Trutanic.

Trutanic is now an asst. at Cal St. Northridge.
