| | Comments (0) |

Ryan Murphy, a 5-foot-11 guard and incoming eighth-grader at Oaks Christian, was recently selected all-star game MVP in the eighth-grade division at the Junior Phenom Camp in San Diego.

Murphy, who had 24 points including three 3-pointers in the all-star game, has been evaluated as the No. 2 player in the eighth-grade class nationally behind National City's Justin Moore, according to The Hoop Scoop Online.

Murphy was selected MVP of the seventh-grade all-star game last year and evaluated as the No. 1 player in his class at the Junior Phenom Camp.

Murphy was also selected the MVP of the 13-14 division at the recent Michael Jordan camp in Santa Barbara.
