HS FOOTBALL: Panorama makes a pass

| | Comments (0) |

Now that three-year standout running back Malcolm Thomas has graduated, Panorama is looking to pass the football this season, and that means returning quarterback Enrique Camacho could be primed for a big year.

"He's our guy," first-year coach Bob Mesa said. "He's 6-foot-2, and he has a pretty good arm and good size, and he's a great leader.

Thomas rushed for nearly 1,800 yards last season as Panorama averaged nearly 350 yards on the ground, and Camacho completed 51 percent of his passes for 796 yards and nine touchdowns.

Panorama, 7-5 last season, opens Thursday against visiting South Gate.
