FOOTBALL: Former Westlake star Isham off to good start at Louisiana Tech

Nick Isham, the Daily News Player of the Year at Westlake last season, is the starting quarterback Louisiana Tech, and the freshman is off to a good start.

He has completed 63.2 percent of his passes for 926 yards and four touchdowns in four games.

Another former local, Darrell Scott, who played at Moorpark High and St. Bonaventure, has rushed for 348 yards and five touchdowns for South Florida. He also has three receptions.
