HS FOOTBALL: San Fernando looks to get back on track

| | Comments (0) |

San Fernando is expected to be one of the San Fernando Valley's most improved teams after winning a total of three games in each of the past two seasons, and the Tigers opened Friday with a 46-8 win over Sun Valley.

Will Settle, whose father, Bill, used to play for the Tigers with current San Fernando coach Tom Hernandez, rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries, and the Tigers limited Sun Valley to 65 yards, as a running clock was used in the second half.

"We looked good all-around," Hernandez said.
