HS FOOTBALL: Antelope Valley forfeits win over Barstow

Antelope Valley has forfeited a Sept. 16 win at Barstow because of an ineligible player, Antelope Valley coach Eric MacIntyre confirmed today.

The Antelopes are 2-2 instead of 3-1.

"It was a paperwork mistake," said MacIntyre, a first-year coach. "A kid who had transferred in played about eight plays was not officially cleared until of a couple of days later."
