Chaminade leads Notre Dame 21-3 at the half.

Chaminade jumped to quick 14-0 lead in the opening minutes.

On its first possession, the Eagles drove 84 yards on nine plays, scoring on Terrell Newby's 3-yard run. Logan Scott sparked the drive with four completions for 55 yards, including a 24-yard strike to Elijah Dunston.

It took three plays for Notre Dame to fumble the ball away. On a short completion from Kelly Hilinski, Josh Anderson fumbled on a jarring hit from Jacob Bowman, and Sam Hardy recovered at the Notre Dame 38.

After a 17-yard run by Scott, Chaminade fed Newby the ball seven times in a row, and the junior finished with a 1-yard touchdown run.

Notre Dame rallied a couple of series later when Helinski found Muhammad on a pass down the left sideline for a 54-yard gain to the 7. But on third-and-goal from the 4, Howard Lynch-Balani sacked Hilinski for an 8-yard loss, and Notre Dame had to settle for Lucas Alfonso's 29-yard field goal.

Chaminade scored again on a 33-yard pass from Logan to Dunston, culminating a seven-play, 80-yard drive. The key play was a 22-yard reception by Newby.
