HS FOOTBALL: It's a big one tonight between Canyon and host Valencia

| | Comments (0) |

Kickoff is approaching at Valencia High, and there is electricity in the air as the host Vikings prepare for a crucial Foothill League showdown against visiting Canyon -- as the league's two clear favorites go head to head in game that figures to all but decide the eventual league champion.

Canyon (6-0) loves to score but has not played a top opponent. Valencia (3-3) has lost three times to opponents ranked among the top 30 in the state, so no one is sure exactly what to expect.
