BOYS' BASKETBALL: Cain close to coming back to Colorado basketball team

| | Comments (0) |

Damiene Cain could be rejoining the Colorado basketball team.

Cain played at Harvard-Westlake but quit the team in early September to concentrate on academics.

However, Cain recently told coach Tad Boyle that he misses basketball and has been working out with coaches on individual drills.

Cain hasn't taken part in full-fledged practices.

Cain would be part of a stellar freshman calls that includes Taft's Spencer Dinwiddie and Price's Askia Booker.

Colorado also has a commitment from Mater Dei's Xavier Johnson for the 2012-2013 and is in the running for Tyrone Wallace from Bakersfield.
