New Cleveland High coach Damon Charlot was a winner in his high school coaching debut.

The Cavaliers easily took care of San Fernando, 92-68 in a City Section nonleague season opener for both schools.

Jason Moore poured in 20 points and Osamu Igodan had 17 points to lead Cleveland.

Igodan showed off explosive athleticism with two monster dunks, including one in traffic, in the paint, in the third quarter.

Cleveland led by 17 points at halftime.

Raymond Felix was excellent for San Fernando with 21 points, including five 3-pointers.
