BOYS' BASKETBALL: Former Sierra Canyon standout playing well for Pomona Pitzer

Michael Cohen (Sierra Canyon '11) continues to shine for Pomona-Pitzer.

Cohen had 21 points on 7 of 10 shooting against defending Division III national champion St. Thomas (Minn.) on Nov. 19 (a double-overtime loss).

This weekend, he had 12 points on 5 of 9 shooting in an easy win over Dominican (Ill.) on Friday, then had 23 points on 8 of 11 shooting in a 79-76 win over St. Olaf on Saturday.

Cohen was 5 of 6 on 3-point attempts, including 4 of 4 in the second half, which included the tying 3-pointer with 1:01 to play.
