BOYS' BASKETBALL: Providence wins big behind guards

Providence High made a statement Monday in an easy 86-43 victory against Wildwood in a pool-play game of its own tournament.

Two guards had impressive season debuts.

Senior Patrick Gonzalez scored 34 points and had eight rebounds, six assists and four steals.

Freshman Marcus LoVett scored 24 points and had eight assists and eight steals.
