BOYS' BASKETBALL: Taft transfer ruled ineligible

| | Comments (0) |

Highly-decorated Taft transfer Shaqquan Aaron from Mater Dei has been ruled ineligible by the L.A. City Section for the 2011-2012 school year.

Los Angeles Unified School District athletic administrator Trent Cornelius confirmed the news by phone and indicated pre-enrollment contact was an issue.

Aaron is a 6-foot-6 forward, who was a star freshman for coach Gary McKnight last season.

There are also further reports another transfer at Taft has been kicked out of school.

Teyvon Myers, a 6'6 forward from New York, is now at Cleveland High in Reseda.
