HS FOOT: Quartz Hill back is having a huge season

Osirius Burke, an unheralded junior from Quartz Hill, has made quite an impression -- on both sides of the football.

Burke has rushed for 1,549 yards and 24 touchdowns, totaling 116 yards or more in every game except a 55-0 win over Barstow when Burke had four carries for 83 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he has 88 tackles, three fumble recoveries and three sacks.
