BOYS' BASKETBALL: BIG day on Thursday for hoops

There are games galore Thursday if you are a die-hard basketball fan.

Championship games at Chaminade and Ventura.

Chaminade vs. Eastside Catholic at 6 p.m. at Chaminade

Canyon at Ventura High

There is also some great semifinal action all over the place.

Crespi vs. Washington Prep and Price vs. Bishop Montgomery at Redondo Union High.

Taft vs. Windward and DeMatha (Maryland) vs. Newark Memorial at the Torrey Pines tournament near San Diego.

Oaks Christian vs. Cleveland at Oaks Christian, 8:30 p.m. and Etiwanda vs. Santa Monica at 7 p.m.

Village Christian vs. St. Francis at 7:30 p.m. and Maranatha vs. Muir at 6 p.m., both games at LaSalle High

Alemany vs. Modesto Christian and Bakersfield vs. Weston Ranch at Modesto Christian.
