BOYS' BASKETBALL: Burroughs wins first game of the season

Pedro Gonzales scored 16 points to lead Burroughs to a 62-45 victory against Rosemead in pool-play at the Pasadena Poly tournament.

Four players totaled double figures in a balanced effort for the Indians (1-0).

Burroughs is in action Thursday against host Pasadena Poly.
