BOYS' BASKETBALL: Calabasas getting production from several players

Calabasas is off to a 10-0 start heading into a first-round game against Oaks Christian at the Oaks Christian tournament at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Coyotes have been doing it with different players stepping up each game.

Holden Israel scored 31 points in a victory against Indio, Josh Cohan scored 20 points and sophomore Austen Smith scored 18 points in a victory against Cochrane from Alberta, Canada, and sophomore point guard Jeremy Lieberman garnered MVP honors after a championship game victory against Palm Springs Friday.

Lieberman also scored 24 points in a semifinal victory against Palm Desert.

The Coyotes are the favorite to win the Marmonte League, and already are 2-0 in league after victories against Royal and Simi Valley.
