| | Comments (0) |

Chaminade picked up its easiest win of the year.

The Eagles (5-2) earned a forfeit victory against Canoga Park at the Pacifica of Oxnard tournament Thursday when the Hunters called 70 minutes before the start of the game and said they weren't coming.

"I am not happy," Chaminade coach Todd Wolfson said. "We did our pregame, we did our warm-up and we paid a lot of money for a bus to come out here."

Chaminade beat Santa Paula, 78-42, on Wednesday.

Jaron Martin scored 21 points, Jack Williams scored 20 points and freshman Dylan Cuenca scored 11 points.

Chaminade is one win away from playing Saturday's championship.

The would likely meet up with Oxnard in the 5 p.m. final.
