BOYS' BASKETBALL: Chaminade gets first win of season

Jack Williams scored 28 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Chaminade to a 69-48 consolation quarterfinal victory against Canoga Park at the Santa Monica tournament.

Zach Miller added 18 points for the Eagles (1-1).

Junior guard Jaron Martin did not play for Chaminade.

Chaminade will play Birmingham or Corona Centennial in a consolation semifinal in the next round.
