BOYS' BASKETBALL: Crespi is in the Canyon tournament championship.

Crespi advanced to the Canyon tournament championship by virtue of a 55-50 victory against Grant.

Justin Rubia scored 11 points and London Perrantes had 10 points and eight rebounds to lead the Celts (4-0).

Crespi will face either Canyon or Kennedy for the championship Saturday at 6 p.m.

Gor Plavchyan scored 18 points and had 11 rebounds to lead Grant, which dropped to 2-1.

Grant trailed by 14 points but mounted a furious rally to tie the game with 3:30 remaining.

Crespi finished the job.
