BOYS' BASKETBALL: Simi Valley tournament championship set for Saturday

El Camino Real will play Valencia for the Simi Valley tournament championship Saturday at 8 p.m.

ECR beat Westlake, 69-51.

Michael Thomas scored 16 points, Evan Wardlow scored 14 points and Julian Richardson scored 14 points, in a balanced effort for the Conquistadores.

Valencia slipped by Sierra Canyon, 82-80.

Sierra Canyon and Valencia tip-off at 6 p.m. for third place.
