HS FOOTBALL: Westlake is on a mission

| | Comments (0) |

The Westlake-Oaks Christian final is a rematch of last year's championship won by Oaks Christian 29-28, and Westlake linebacker David Ortiz said he and his teammates are again expecting the all-Westlake Village showdown to go down to the wire.

"I think it's going to be exactly the same kind of game, and we're going to be excited to play a game into the fourth quarter," Ortiz said.

Ortiz's point is significant because Westlake (13-0) has won its past 12 by 21 points or more.

"We have a different mentality this time," Westlake running back Adam Augustyn said.
