BOYS' BASKETBALL: Burbank's Pope transfers to La Jolla Prep

Burbank guard Austin Pope has left the school and transferred to fifth-year program La Jolla Prep.

Pope was one of the top players for Burbank with Andre Spight.

"He left at the semester break," Burbank coach Jose Hernandez said. "We haven't had him all of league. That is why we have been struggling to finish games."
