GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Buckley wins on buzzer-beater against Viewpoint

Leah Purvis drained a 3-pointer from the right wing with one second remaining to give Buckley a 40-39 Liberty League victory against Viewpoint.

Purvis' shot capped a wild fourth quarter comeback for the Griffins (7-7, 2-3).

Viewpoint beat Buckley on Jan. 4, 45-36.

The Patriots dropped to (7-8, 1-2).
