HS FOOTBALL: Former Montclair Prep star to host charity function

Eliel Swinton, a former Daily News Player of the Year at Montclair Prep who went on to play at Stanford before founding CarPe Diem Sports Academy, a non-profit organization that teaches at-risk youths life skills and provides others services, is hosting a charity dinner Friday.

"It's the first opportunity for me to show all of my friends and family members the organization I have created. I'm truly excited," Swinton said.

Former college coach Tyrone Willingham is the keynote speaker.
