There are several top freshman that will emerge with summer basketball starting soon.
However, Hart High is expected to have a real good one.
Look out for Julia White.
Kylie Cunningham, an All-Marmonte League selection, is going to Hawaii-Pacific (NCAA Div. II) next year.
Raquel Alotis has stepped down as girls' basketball coach at Sierra Canyon.
Alotis was hired before last summer and lasted one season.
The Trailblazers lost to Chaminade in a Div. 4AA second round game this past season
Alotis also has coached at Chatsworth and El Camino Real.
Athletic Director Rock Pillsbury said he hope to fill the position quickly before summer ball starts.

The Liberty League is allowing Providence to play every other team in the league only once next year.
The catch.
Every game will count as two in the standings.
Very tricky for the Pioneers.
One loss would count as two losses for Providence and one victory would count as two wins.
Blair Galbraith has been named head coach at Royal.
Galbraith replaces Kinsley Mittel.
Mittel accepted an assistant coaching position at The Master's College in Santa Clarita.
Galbraith was Mittel's assistant last season.
Congratulations are in order for four-year guard Maya Campo of Monroe High in North Hills.
Campo, who never experienced losing a Valley Mission League game, signed with UC Merced, a Div. III school.
