Sanchez to speak at the Democratic National Convention
U.S. Representative Linda Sánchez,
D-Lakewood, will speak on the economy at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday,
August 26, 2008 between 2:30 and 3 p.m., her office released.
"I am honored to address this historic Convention for
change," Sanchez said in a statement. "In my home state of
California and around the nation, voters will have an opportunity to hear from
a candidate that is talking about issues that affect their families: gasoline
prices, jobs, and home ownership."
