Captain talks international trade

On Friday, Captain Jerry Aspland, former ARCO Marine President and President Emeritus of the California Maritime Academy, will share his perspective on today's business and education landscape as it relates to international trade at the International Business Association Lunch at the Westin.

The Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event will be at 11:30 a.m. at the Westin Long Beach Hotel, 300 E. Ocean Blvd. Call 562-432-8128.

Paul Eakins reports on Long Beach City Hall, and local and regional politics. A newcomer to the Press-
