Moore League football games have been switched from Friday night - aka Halloween -- to Thursday night to avoid "all the ghosts and goblins out there."

Jordan at Wilson was already schedule for Thursday, but Poly at Cabrillo and Millikan at Compton have been switched to Thursday. Game times remain at 7 p.m. Lakewood has a bye.

It should be noted that Banning at San Pedro at 6:30 p.m. and Carson at Gardena at 7 p.m. had previously been switched to Thursday night as well.

why do thye take 4 teams form the moore league?/

It is my understanding that leagues with six teams get three playoff berths, and leagues with seven teams receive four berths. It's not always fair, like if you look at the Trinity League in years past. Their 4th or 5th place team was probably better than most 2nd or 3rd place teams.

well then lakewood should get the 4th spot, behind poly, compton and jordan..

That is a scenario, but Wilson still has a chance. The Bruins are 2-2 in league, just like Lakewood. And if Wilson beats Jordan on Thursday, the Panthers would also have two losses.
