If anyone has any influence over he powers that be, please let this great communal matchup take place at Vets @ LBCC. Lakewood High can barely hold 3,000. There were 7,000 for the Poly-Bishop Amat game.

This would be a great evening out for all LB and Lakewood prep fans and the cities involved. Both schools have brought pride to their areas. Lakewood has caught the attention the the traditional CIF PAC five football powers.

Why be selfish with this event and deny thousands from viewing this civic spectacle?
Hold this semifinal at Vets.

The game will NOT be played at Lakewood High. Talk is that Lakewood would like to have the game at Cerritos College. LBCC would be nice and convenient, but it also is the home field for Poly and Lakewood doesn't want that. Look for Cerritos College.

The game will be played at Cerritos College which is a better venue for this game than Vet's.

The teams AND the fans will be on opposite sides of the field from eachother, and Cerritos has a larger capacity than Vet's. Cerritos has a newer "astro tutf" playing surface than Vet's.

The "field house" locker room facilities are better at Cerritos and it is free to park your car there opposed to Vet's $6.00 per car charge.

Lakewood is the home team and has the right to choose the Cerritos site.

The CIF dictated that Lakewood was to choose between Vet's and Cerritos and not to play at their home field facility due to seating capacity.

A routeen CIF policy that will assure a great venue for these two deserving teams and their fans.
