Los Alamitos was a very good team this season. It has been fun to follow. There is enormous pressure, internal and external, involved in sustaining momentum necessary to acheive a nearly undefeated season. The most overlooked victories this year for Los Al (in my opinion) were Albany Academy (NY) and Etiwanda. Albany suffered but one loss this year, to the Griffins. Etiwanda played consistently throughout the season. There were other great Los Al wins during the campaign as well as the heartbreaking loss to Lynwood in a classic nailbiter. In the end, you are only as good as your record says you are, and 27-2 speaks volumes. Congratulations to the coaches, players, and fans.
