Less than 18 hours after losing his first match this season, Glenn High heavyweight Jose Lopez rallied for four more wins to place third at the CIF State Wrestling Championship in Bakersfield.
Lopez finished his senior season 51-1 and improved on his fifth-place showing from a year ago. He was the Long Beach area's only state placer.
