Tuesday
Softball - Lakewood vs. Wilson at Joe Rodgers Field, 3:15 p.m.
The Bruins think they have a shot at their first Moore League title in more than a decade, but the defending champion Lancers will certainly have a say in who finishes atop the standings.

Softball - Los Alamitos at Gahr (DH), 3 p.m.
Another highly touted opponent for the Gladiators, who come into the doubleheader against the area's top-rated team with just one win. Gahr has been in every game, and these games shouldn't be any different.

Baseball - Wilson vs. Lakewood at Blair Field, 6:30 p.m.
The Moore League's top two teams battle for an early edge in the standings. The game, the first of three meetings, should be high-scoring if all goes as expected.

Wednesday
Baseball -La Mirada at Glenn, 3:15 p.m.
In the first of two meetings this week, the Eagles will try and assert themselves against the Suburban League favorite Matadores. With four teams vying for the league crown, these two games will be huge.

Baseball - Santa Margarita at St. John Bosco, 3:15 p.m.
The surprising Braves, who have cracked double-digits in four of their six wins, will open Trinity League play against a Santa Margarita pitching staff that allows just four runs per game.

Thursday
Softball - Mayfair at St. Joseph, 3:15 p.m.
Call it the "War on Woodruff" or whatever you want, because the across-the-street rival Monsoons and Jesters will go full tilt for bragging rights in their only matchup of the season.

Saturday
Track & Field - Percy Knox Invitational at College of the Canyons, 9 a.m.
The meet will feature a matchup between CIF State girls team title contenders Poly, Serra and Logan. Lynwood, Artesia and Carson are other area entrants.
