The annual East vs. West 8-Man All-Star football game will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at Rolling Hills Prep High in San Pedro.

This game will feature players from 60 CIF Southern Section 8-man schools that stretch between Lee Vining and Vista. The traditional dividing line for the game has been the 610 Freeway, but this year organizers have mixed ups the sides a bit to hopefully create a more competitive game.

Area players invited to participate in the game include Avalon QB/DE Hernan Soto, RB/DB Oskar Casillas, WR/DB James Laflin, OL/DL Vince Viernes, RB/LB Spencer Creigh and TE/DE Brett Hernandez.

Tickets for the game range from $8 to $5 for students with ID and $4 for children 5-12. Kids under 5 are free.

The game will benefit the Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA.
