Apparently the way the Trojans produce QBs for the NFL was among the reasons. And staying close to home another.
I gotta hand it to the kid, because I'm not sure I would have made the same choice. Playing time will be hard to come by at USC, with the amount of talent there. Maybe he gets a season or two. Worked for JD Booty and Mark Sanchez ... and for guys who never started (Matt Cassel).
