Athletes of the Week
Boys
Dejon Bernard, Jr., Glenn
In a 55-14 win over La Quinta, Bernard scored a whopping five touchdowns. He rushed for 103 yards and three TDs, caught 73 yards in passes, including a 56-yard scoring strike, and also returned a punt 65 yards for another score.

Girls
Kellie Culbertson, Sr., Wilson
The outside hitter led the Bruins to a 6-1 record and a ninth-place finish at the prestigious Durango Fall Classic in Las Vegas over the weekend. She also knocked down a match-high 27 kills in a five-set loss to Lakewood earlier in the week
