Poly in for long season?

That's the question after the Jackrabbits were whacked by Servite, 30-7, on Thursday night in their season opener.

The schedule doesn't get any easier for Poly over the next five weeks.

The Jackrabbits face St. Bonaventure, the No. 1 team in the CIF-SS Northern Division and the defending state D-II champ, next week, followed by match-ups against L.A. City power Narbonne, San Diego Section power Oceanside and key Moore League games against Jordan and Lakewood, who would love to take out years of frustration out on the master.

Coach Raul Lara has said his team could be 0-6 by then. Will it happen? How can they turn things around? How many wins will they have after six games, and if so, who will they beat?
