Warren High running back Jesse Callier, the area's leading rusher last season and so far this year, has been offered a full-ride scholarship and has orally committed to the University of Washington.
Callier has nearly 1,500 yards rushing (250 per game) and 21 TDs over six games so far this season. He is on pace to outdo last year's 2,400 yard season.
Callier will be another star player brought to U-Dub by coach Steve Sarkisian. Here are some of the other players who have also committed to the Huskies.

Congrats to Jessie all your hard work paid off. Hopefully if you live in Downey, you will take the time to come out and see him and the Bears.
Jesse is a fine running back and a quite respectable defensive back : may he play often and well up north. However, it is my especial hope that he takes full advantage when he attends one of the finest public universities in the nation so as to prepare for his post-football life. In any case, congrats, young man,and kick major Lynwood butt this Friday.
OK, so Poly drops to 9th in your top ten. How many more games do they have to lose before they drop out alltogether?
Congrats to Jesse, he is a phenomenal player that should be a four-star caliber player, arguably a five-star. What he brings to the table as a running-back and as a return man is ridiculous. Teams fear his ability to lose defenders in open field, and also his homerun capability. I guarantee he will be an immediate impact in the return game for the Dawgs his freshman year. Will be used as a Joe McKnight type guy, in the slot or as a wide-out to try and use his abiliy to lose defenders in the open-field where he is most effective.
