The Cerritos High girls volleyball team, making just its second appearance in the CIF-SS finals, won't be bringing home the title this time, either.

After winning the first set in the Division IIIA title match at Cypress College on Friday night, the Dons couldn't contain top-seeded Mayfield, which responded for a 21-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-21 win to record its third straight CIF title.

Check the PT Preps web page later tonight for the complete story.
