CIF Football: Other Divisional Predictions

Surprising Centennial (the Pioneer champion) got the No. 8 seed in the Northwest Division while Valley Christian (Olympic champion) was the No. 7 seed in the Mid-Valley Division.
NORTHWEST DIVISION

No. 8 Centennial (7-3/No. 1 Pioneer) vs. Harvard-Westlake (7-3, No. 3 Del Rey)
The Apaches are league champs for the first since, well, no one can seem to remember and back in the playoffs for the first time in a couple of years. They have some serious playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. Defense is the question mark. They are good enough to win this. For doing that, the reward is a second-round game against Oaks Christian, one of the best teams in the state regardless of division.

MID-VALLEY DIVISION

No. 7 Valley Christian (8-2/No. 1 Olympic) is at home to La Canada (5-4/No. 3 Rio Hondo)
The Crusaders beat defending division champ Paraclete to win the league title. That probably means that V.C. has as good a chance as anyone to winning the league title.
