Why isn't prep tennis on line? Remember, Lakewood High School is as important a member of the Moore League as is Wilson or Poly. And the latter teams lost Saturday in CIF playoffs, leaving Lakewood High as the only remaining Moore League team in the playoffs--the quarterfinals!

Because it's girls tennis, and football rules!! DUH!!!

Why no info on the City Eastern League Football. They are also a part of the area The Press-Telegram covers.

Predictions for Pac-5

Pac-5 Division
Millikan at Edison - Edison
Newport Harbor at Lakewood - Newport Harbor
Poly vs. Los Alamitos at Vets Stadium - Los Al
Wilson at Mission Viejo - are you kidding, Mission Viejo, Wilson should have NEVER been in playoffs

Anonymous! Are you serious? Newport Harbor will not beat Lakewood; please give me a break..Lol.

Wilson should have NEVER been in playoffs....Dear Anonymous . They EARNED the right to be in the playoffs. I'm not saying they will beat Mission Viejo but they did have a winning season and they are a better team then you may think.. Did they hurt your feelings when they beat your baseball team?????

I would love, LOVE to see Newport Harbor put Fakewood in it's place.

Fakewood fans are starting to get a little too full of themselves this season.

La Mirada and Norwalk two powerful offenses and both at 9-1!

Go Big Red......Alumnus 1965

LOOKS LIKE HSFBFAN IS A JEALOUS POLY FAN. ONLY A WABBIT FAN TYPES "FAKEWOOD." IT'S GONNABE THE WOOD STOMPING NPH THIS FRIDAY NIGHT. GET REAL, FOO!

In the Pac 5 (Division I),Edison and Mission Viejo are the gold standard;all the other teams are not up to speed.Deal with it, Long Beach fans:Truth happens. I am quite sure, in 2 or 3 years, Poly will get its mettle back.
