San Gabriel Valley Tribune - These are the Catholic drunks from La Puente???

Where has that COCupcakefan and the Guru run off to? Why are they not here to compare Charter Oak and South Hills football to Bishop Amat?

I'm sure Charter Oak and South Hills could have handled the Mater Dei Monarchs in the same way...HAHAHAHAA!

ONCE AGAIN, BISHOP AMAT DEFENDS THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY FROM THE BEST OF ORANGE COUNTY!!!
.
.
.
Bishop La Drunk - THEY'RE TOO DRUNK TO KNOW THAT THEY HAVE LAKEWODD NEXT WEEK!!! AND, THEY HAVE TO TRAVEL? HA...LMAO!!!

Norwalk has one heck of an offense. Only one punt and that was with 45 secs left in the game with the complete second string in for offense and defense. It 30 - 0 first quarter!

I pity the team whom has to play then next, Westminster. Norwalk gained over 500 yards in the ground.

One last thought they are averaging over 50pts a game now.

The refs might has well been wearing red jerseys and black uniforms pants. They basically gave the game to Segerstrom Jags. WHO????????

Lakewood is a small community that is very loyal to their football. This is Lakewood's year to shine. So Bishop Amant bring your flask because it's going to be a long cold night. Lakewood 35 Bishop 10.....

p.s. dont't forget your designated driver for the long ride home.

Fakewood isn't beating Amat.

Lakewood has beat no one this year and the Moore league is a joke with too many playoff berths.

Seriously.

well Lakewood enjoy your last game this Friday against AMAT...thought we would see ya'll at angel stadium this year...maybe next time!!!Go POLY!!!

Lakewood's 1 loss was by 1 point to a USA Today's Top 25 team... They are ranked 10th in the west in the USA Today and STILL Lakewood gets no respect from SoCal... GO LANCERS!

They have earned no respect. A 1 point loss and a sweep of the Moore league does not equal respect.

go servite....beat poly....bad

GO BEARS!!!!!!!!! Let's fill Justice Stadium this Friday night, like we did against the Ducks a few weeks ago!!!!!!! Warren 37-Alemany 33 PS:Best wishes to Dominguez also

The reason Lakewood does not get respect is because of a combo of things....players, coaches and parents. Respect is EARNED not just given.

Don't hate, just appreciate. It's Lakewood's year to shine.

Great matchup this week - Bishop Amat vs Lakewood. I would have to say both teams appear very equal. And I just read that Lakewood has the home game - big sigh of relief there. Amat is very tough at home. And Lakewood has been real good on their turf. My pick is Lakwood in a tough battle. Big question for me and Lakewood is when does the absence of Jerry Stone rear it's head for the Wood. Is it this game or the semis? Lakewood's defense has been solid this year and gives Lakewood an edge to go far this year.

Oh Poly is not the same team either. They just lack a passing game. Will probably doom them in the long run. Such a shame.

This comment is for San Gabriel Valley and HS Football Fan, and I'm going to be the better person on this one. Please just be Very Very Quiet, and just sit back and watch what happens this Friday when Lakewood put hands on Bishop Amt., and let's hear your responses then. Lol! Enough said I don't need to defend the team at all because they will and is going to shut everyone up this year. No trash talk is needed at this point, because everyone who's said negative comments about the team has been wrong up to this point. So they will take care of their business on the field like they've been doing and should continue to do. "Go Lakewood Lancers" and handle your business.

Mayfair was cheated...Lakewood lucky...Norwalk its about time got tired of being suburban league whipping boy i guess...La Mirada overrated how many cif championships they got they choke this year again...after the look of the moore league and other league around town...suburban league needs alittle more respect!

The funny thing is (and no one talks about it as much anymore) the Cathlic schools recruit the hell out of SoCal. The are allowed to while schools like Lakewood, Poly and the rest of the Moore League has homegrown talent... The Cathlic Schol shouldn't even be allowed in CIF. Let's get rid of them and bring the LA City schools into the picture.

Get rid of the Catholic schools and get city schools in the picture- great idea. Then you end up with a playoff scenario that is about as big of a joke as the Moore league itself.

Now Lakewood might be able to hang, they might even be able to win on Friday. This is the first chance they have to prove themselves. If they win, then they deserve their respect and best of luck to them going forward in the playoffs. All I'm saying is that they've only won games so far that they should have won.

let me guess... Lakewood was supposed to win that one as well right? Lancers... Beat Edison and shut the haters up.

btw... Poly will be there as well... In the stands.
